At Little Avanti, we are always interested in hearing from passionate, caring, and dedicated early years professionals. We offer a range of roles across our nursery settings, supporting children to grow, learn, and thrive in a nurturing environment.
Below are the types of roles we regularly recruit for:
Nursery Manager
Our Nursery Managers provide strong leadership and oversee the day‑to‑day running of the nursery. This role includes managing staff, ensuring high‑quality care and learning, maintaining compliance with EYFS and safeguarding requirements, and building positive relationships with families.
Nursery Deputy Manager
Deputy Managers work closely with the Nursery Manager to support leadership, staff development, and operational delivery. This role is ideal for experienced practitioners looking to take the next step in their career while remaining hands‑on with children.
Third in Charge
The Third in Charge supports the management team and plays a key role in room leadership, staff mentoring, and maintaining high standards of care and education. This role offers valuable leadership experience alongside practical childcare responsibilities.
Level 3 Early Years Practitioner
Our Level 3 practitioners are central to delivering high‑quality learning and care. You will plan and support engaging activities in line with the EYFS, build strong bonds with children, and work in partnership with parents to support development.
Level 2 Early Years Practitioner
Level 2 practitioners support the wider team in providing a safe, stimulating, and caring environment. This role is ideal for those developing their experience in early years while working under the guidance of senior practitioners.
1:1 Support for a Child
This role focuses on providing individual or small‑group support for a child with additional needs. You will work closely with the team, parents, and outside professionals to help the child access learning and settle confidently within the nursery environment.
Bank Staff
Bank staff provide flexible cover across our settings as needed. This role suits qualified or experienced practitioners looking for flexibility while still being part of a supportive nursery team.
